Lovefilm review: a real treat here for fans of 70s kitsch: gloriously camp with a great satiric edge. The original Thames series from 1976 blasts back with a perspective on the 'decade that taste forgot' that seems almost more appropriate 25 years on. The fashions, culture and politics of that period are mercilessly sent up with an insight that seems amazingly prescient now. Far funnier than it seemed at the time, but the performances remain as fresh as ever. Highly recommended.
