installing Microsoft Activesync 3.6, released (I think) yesterday, and my XP Pro machine informs me that “The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP”.

ordered the D-Link bluetooth adaptor for the Powerbook, and it duly arrived yesterday. Plugged it in, rebooted, introduced it to two batphones.

it just worked. It’s so depressing that this actually surprises me, but when I recall the trouble we’ve had making other bluetooth devices communicate …

what a lovely little thing is my shiny new Powerbook – an early birthday present from perlmonger. Now I’ve installed Jaguar on it, and it’s a thing of beauty and I’m beginning to see what Mac users rave about.
